Thoughtful Ukulele Orchestra.
Calling all ukulele enthusiasts in the Durango area - and even beyond! Come and audition for the Thoughtful Ukulele Orchestra - soprano, concert, tenor, baritone and even bass players welcomed! You must be comfortable with strumming, chords, reading tablature and singing! We meet weekly in studio #114 at the Smiley Building, Suggested donations are appreciated. Group Lessons.
Playing with friends is a great experience and fun way to learn the ukulele! I have Absolute Beginner, Confident Beginner and special workshop opportunities to get you on the strumming path to keeping music in your life. All ages - All levels!
Special Workshops
Specialty workshops are planned twice a year with professional ukulele musicians and teachers from all over the country including Daniel Ward, Heidi Swedberg, Craig McClelland, Steven Espaniola and Marnie Ward. The Fall and Spring Mountain Ukulele Retreat host a special presenter and set on a weekend with one day of workshops and concert in the evening.
